ST. ALBANS FIRE DEPARTMENT

The St. Albans Fire Department has 19 full time firefighters, whose primary responsibility is to protect the citizens and property of St. Albans from the dangers of fire and other emergencies. The department has made several important improvements resulting in a better rating from a Class 4 to a Class 3 by Insurance Service Office. Only four other fire departments in West Virginia have the same rating. Due to this improved rating, the citizens of St. Albans should see a reduction in their home and business insurance premiums.
