About US:
 
The St. Albans Regional Development Authority "STARDA" incorporated on the 10th day of April 1990 as a Non-Profit Corporation. STARDA was created to develop and nurture economic growth within the St. Albans area. Although a totally independent corporation STARDA enjoys a positive working relationship with many of the other economic development organizations in Kanawha and Putnam Counties.
 
 
Our Mission:

The purpose of the Organization is to promote the economic well being of the City of St. Albans: to promote commerce and a better quality of life for all its citizens.

  • Improve the Appearance of the City through Beautification
 
STARDA Board of Directors:

The Board of Directors is made up of ten designated positions of representatives ranging form Utilities, Education, Finance Service, Business Community, Retail Business Community, Civic Organizations, City Government and area Chamber of Commerce as well as five At-Large positions. The intent of such a diversified board of directors is to be capable of handling the problems associated with Economic Development and Growth effectively.
